Today, members of the team got together in the Wesley Social Room to pack all the medicines, clothes (dresses for girls made by the church), pants for boys, small toys, games, backpacks, medical supplies for Dr. John and so much more! We have 20 suitcases--at about 50 pounds each--for the children's home! Praise the Lord! To save space many of the team members are sharing one suitcase, thus we can take MORE to the kids in Rwanda. Brother Paul and Sister Leslie gave us a briefing on safety, checkpoints, and the realities of traveling to and in a third-world country. Food will not be abundant, which for some of us is a good thing!
We're excited, blessed, and anticipating a week from today when we will be on our way!
